Terms and contest rules

Who can use OutGrind
You must be 18 or older. One account per person. You are responsible for knowing whether paid skill contests are allowed where you live. Do not buy in if they are not.
How a contest works
A crew is a private group that you join by invite link. Each calendar month is one contest, on Pacific time. Members log their own workouts and earn points: one point per pound lifted, and set values for other activities. The member with the most points at the end of the month wins. Points reset on the 1st.
Results depend on the effort you put in, not on chance. Entries are self-reported and visible to your whole crew. Log only what you actually did. We can remove entries or close accounts that post false numbers.
Buy-ins, prize and fee
Each crew has a monthly buy-in per person, starting at $1. Members vote on the amount for the following month. Buying in is optional and is open until day 7 of the month, or for 7 days after a new crew is created.
The prize is everything paid in by the crew that month, minus OutGrind's 20% fee. Only members who bought in can win it. If two or more winners tie, they split the prize evenly. If fewer than two members buy in, there is no contest and the buy-in is refunded.
Payments are processed by PayPal. Winners are paid by PayPal after the month closes, to the PayPal email saved in their account. Keep that email current. Buy-ins are not refundable once a month has two or more paid members.
Your responsibilities
Train within your limits and talk to a doctor before starting hard exercise. OutGrind is a scoreboard, not medical or training advice, and you take part at your own risk. Any tax on prizes is yours to report.
Emails
We email you when someone in your crew logs a workout and send occasional check-ins on your standing. Turn either off in your account or with the link in any email.
Changes and contact
We may update these rules. Changes apply from the next month's contest. Questions: support@outgrind.top.
